WoW, Since purchasing this wonderful book – who needs to purchase a curry from your local curry shop. I haven’t!The recipe for the Naan bread is easy to make and tastes wonderful, The basic sauce recipe that is in the wonderful book is made in bulk and is your main sauce mix for all the curries you make. So easy to make and then freeze. All you need to do is add the spices and veg/meat of your choice. This book was recommended by a friend and Im so glad I purchased it

This is a great little book for anyone that loves Indian food. The print is large, and directions easy to understand. The author has even included the Nutritional Information for each recipe. The only drawback is there aren’t any pictures – other than that, the book and price are good.

Ich hatte bereits eine Rezension über “an Indian houswife’s Recipe Book” geschrieben und diese ist deckungsgleich, da ich beide Bücher als Anfänger gekauft hatte und gar nichts damit anfangen konnte. Für Fortgeschrittene, die genau wissen, was sie kochen möchten und ein entsprechendes Rezept suchen, ist das Buch allfällig empfehlenswert, aber ich kann das aber nicht beurteilen.Koche ich ein Zürecher Geschnetzteltes, dann brauche ich keine Illustrationen, aber in einer fremden Küche eben schon.Fazit: einiges Erfahrung sollte bereits vorhanden sein.

I love cooking Indian food and was inspired by the glowing reviews of this book. However a number of the recipes use âcurry powderâ – I might as well go to the supermarket and buy a ready made sauce. It also caters for the US market with measurements being in ounces and by the cup. This is the first time Iâve bought a kindle version of a cookery book and was disappointed to find itâs all text and no pictures. I really wish I hadnât wasted £1.99

I like this cookbook a lot. I bought it specifically for a recipe for a dish that I tried at an Indian restaurant. The recipes are easy to follow and most of the ingredients are easy to find.
