I gave 4 stars for the size. An inch or two wider would have been ideal for my laptop. I ordered it inspite of the size because I could get the delivery within a day, and the price was not too exorbitant. Otherwise very reasonably priced, sturdy, functional for working long hours without hassle. One with a stylus holder added to it would be welcome

A perfect fit but could have been better
The elevation is perfect and the stand feels very sturdy while Also being light, there was no shaking at all while typing. The typing experience is very comfortable even at maximum height (typing experience here is with respect to the laptop keyboard and I do type equally with both keyboards and I’m able to maintain the same speed before and after elevating the laptop)With that being said I have no Idea how long the stand will last before the joint will become looseAlso this stand would close the vent for the fans , if u have a gaming laptop that has a 15.6 inch screen just make sure to keep something like a paper to elevate the laptop from the stand a little so there is ventilation, a little is enough as there are gaps for ventilation on the stand.Also the plastic feels a little flimsy again couldn’t ask anything better for 599/-. It should be fine if you are using it on the move.I didn’t buy the metal ones because of two main reasons1) They say it’s aluminum but actually it’s just an alloy which would rust on exposure to moisture2) Also there only one model of aluminum stand that allows it to be portable but in this model I feel like the hinges are weak and could break anytime

July 23’21- this is the 3rd time I’ve ordered this foldable laptop stand. This time for a 10 yr old friend as a gift! Just one reason why I removed 1 star: the bottom ledge has a very narrow barrier for my thin edged Mac Air, resulting in the the ledge hitting my wrist while typing, as I reported earlier. FIRST REVIEW: It’s easy to instal, sturdy enough for my Air laptop, and makes it easier for me to type – I hate the flat keyboards on most laptops (I was used to typewriters!). The only reason for not giving it a 5 star is that the bottom retention edge hits my lower arm, but by gingerly balancing my thin laptop on a tiny inside edge, I’ve managed to level it off. it also makes viewing by more than one person easier. A bit expensive for a plastic contraption with almost no moving parts.

If you have a small laptop & limited desk space – get this
I was looking for a laptop stand that isn’t all fancy and big but enough to just elevate my office laptop – it’s not a 16″ one so i needed to take that into account as well.Found this one to be the only good fit fromm all that was available. and I don’t regret it one bit! – good plastic build- good anti-slip rubber feets and protection- overall is pretty ergonomic – can be setup in a number of angles that is convenient – but will not go very high/tall like most metal laptpop stands do- easy to work on as well – doesn’t hurt your palms when using the laptop’s keybaord (this was v imp for me)- the hinge is rather tight to work with but i don’t find this to be problematic as i think w use it’ll become more comfortable.Overall, happy to use this for the past week and totally recommend it!
