Solid Home Security with a Few Minor Quirks
I’ve been using the Trueview 2MP Smart CCTV Wi-Fi Home Security Camera with Pan Tilt 360° for the last 3 days, and overall, I’m quite impressed. The setup was straightforward, and the camera connected to my home Wi-Fi without any issues. The 2MP resolution provides clear and crisp images, both during the day and at night, thanks to the decent night vision.The 360° pan and tilt feature is one of the highlights, allowing me to monitor every corner of the room remotely via the app. The two-way audio is also a nice touch, making it easy to communicate with anyone at home when I’m not there.However, there are a few areas where the camera could improve. The app interface, while functional, feels a bit outdated and sometimes lags, especially when switching between different camera position or adjusting settings. Additionally, the camera occasionally takes a few seconds to respond to pan and tilt commands, which can be a bit frustrating when trying to track something in real-time.One drawback is the default recording option, which only records in SD on the local SD card. There’s no HD recording option unless you pay extra for the cloud features, which is a bit disappointing. The motion detection works fairly well.Overall, the Trueview 2MP Smart CCTV is a solid choice for home security, offering good value for its price. While there are a few minor quirks, the camera’s performance and features make it a reliable option for anyone looking to enhance their home security.

At first I was in a dilemma between CPPlus & Trueview, but since I have used CpPlus before, I wanted to opt with Trueview this time. And I am quite happy to say that Trueview does not dissapoints you. The only drawback is that the night vision is black & white when there is total darkness, but even then it gives crisp night vision video. and in general all the features works flawlessly. The HD format view is wonderful but SD format is also remarkable in its format. Equipped with Motion sensor, Alarm, and other features were not found in some of the other brands of Wifi Camera. I would totally recommend. I am very much happy and satisfied with the Trueview Robot 2MP Wifi camera.
