A masterpiece. This is one of the best works.
This is considered to be one of the best fiction novels and no doubt it is a great novel. After I watched the movie, I just had to read it and oh boy!, what a beautifully written book. The book definitely arose more emotions than the movie. Gatsby is about the emptiness that is profound in the lifestyle of the society where values are completely distanced from the opulence. The more you read this book, the more you would fall into it.This is a tragic love story. The feelings are intense and at times you would feel so much for Gatsby. There are things you can’t buy with money and that is what is shown profusely in the novel. This is a very simple story but a very very complicated one at the same time. There is a lot of symbolism that one may want to understand a bit in detail. So do a bit of research on those scenarios that the author is building. This one is a classic and will always be with me. I will always revisit this story.Gatsby is a great character that Fitzgerald has developed and many people will relate with him. Daisy is the demure girl that many people would feel so much for. This book rouses emotions and feelings to a different level.

The Great Gatsby is the story of a lover who likes to hang on with the people all time. Being a party animal throws regular parties to the friends and neighbours to have a great time.He is a war returned and is also accused of killing an individual. The story revolves around the principal four characters of Tom, Daisy, Gatsby and the narrator old sport. Tom and Daisy are married, enters in between their lives the title character of Gatsby.He had loved Daisy before but couldn’t marry her as he had involved in his works. After meeting Daisy again in the future, develops intimacy and starts up the lost affair to complete, irks Tom.Gatsby challenges Tom that Daisy loves him more than her husband. This puts Daisy in a great dilemma, declares that she can’t say how much she reciprocates the love. Thereby leads Tom to suspect heavily on Gatsby and attempts to separate him from Daisy. The story ceases with the sad end of the Gatsby.The writing of the book is phenomenal when it comes to the quality of words and description of things. The writer is damn proficient in refining the actions and thought of the characters and maintains healthy poise amidst the characters.

This was just depressing , my heart was shattered . At first I thought that the book is about a love story but at the end I realized that it was a tragedy , a tragedy which is painfully realistic and asks haunting questions about identity , existence , life and love

A great novel with a great story
This story, this writing, the characters are all fabulous. It was a consuming and entertaining read for me. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The characterization is excellent and I wonder how could someone write so beautifully.I have become a fan of F. Scott Fitzgerald after reading this book. This is the first time I read any of his works but I think this is not the last. It was a great experience for me.Since this book is shorter, it flies by very quickly. I adored this book.

I read it on a recommendation from a friend and I can’t thank him enough !!This book will leave you with mixed emotions . For a moment you will appreciate what life can offer and what it can take away . All your wealth will cease to matter ,when all you have is wealth.With its fine writing and a stimulating plot , The Great Gatsby is a must read !!

Gatsby is a beautifully designed character and so is Carraway . Carraway acts as a critical observer for Gatsby’s descent into tragedy . Society perfectly depicted by Fitzgerald . One would argue that Gatsby was better than all of us for his everlasting benevolence . Great and short read ..

This is one of the best books ever written about the American dream. Fitzgerald’s prose is poetic and imaginative, and the characters are unforgettable. When I was younger, I read this and didn’t understand what all the fuss was about. Now that I’m older, I am in a better position to understand the story and themes of this great American classic novel.
