Works as expected. Some latency
Product works exactly as expected. There were some initial challenges pairing with the device but once paired everything works fine.The pairing time is reasonable and comparable to built-in CarPlay. I have a car with wireless CarPlay built in and the experience is very similar. Touch controls are responsive.If you watch a video on the phone with audio on CarPlay there will be some latency (maybe 300ms).

Great for the purpose it serves
It perfectly serves the purpose which is to convert the wired connection in the car to wireless. Its stupid how car manufacturers are giving wired Apple carplay connection in top end models but wireless connectivity in lower models. This product saves the phone from being stuck in the wired state particularly when you are using for navigation during travel and you may need to use your phone for calls or checking messages. I used it for long distance travel and it did not give any trouble barring very few instances where it moved away from the navigation screen but still stayed connected. Had one instance of hang which got fixed by unplugging and plugging back. Connection is pretty fast with your phone when you sit in the car. Serves the purpose very well. No major issues so far.

Good but has a major consequence.
Device – Apple car play compatible.Phone used- iPhone 14 plus.Car – Hyundai Venue 2020 SX Optional.The build quality is nothing to write much. Neither flimsy nor well built. But at device priced at almost 6000₹, should have a better built quality. The body panels start creaking if pressed hard.The device is said to make experience cable free. It does but not completely. The dongle is connected to car with cable and if you don’t have storage space near your USB slot, it will create issues.Connection for first time is not a hassle. Connection is easy. However, the further connections take 15-20 seconds.After that device works fine just like any Car play. Slight millisecond lag is there but almost 90% people won’t notice it.Heating issues are present. At 30 degrees with AC off, the device will surely heat up. Once AC is working, it keeps its cool. As surrounding temperature goes higher,So does temperature of device. Now the major flaw.It’s more related to iPhone rather than the device.The iPhone 14 plus looses around 7-8 % battery in one hour with navigation and streaming music plus some more usage.On short journey, it may not matter much. On longer journeys, you may loose battery of phone on larger scale. Everyone knows how much battery hungry,iphones are. Once you loose battery, you again have to plug the cable in. When you ultimately plug in the cable, what’s use of going wireless? If you don’t plug in charger, you end up at your destination with an empty battery. Good luck with your photographs in that case.Try not to keep the phone in pocket else it might start heating up as wellOne suggestion to manufacturer.Instead of a cable device, think about getting something similar to a USB device. It will simply plug into USB slot and become completely cable free.
