I agree with the reviewer who points out that this is not a full biography of Tesla, and I too thought that it would be when I started reading. That did not take away from my enjoyment of the book, though.Nikola Tesla is a fascinating man, and his accomplishements were many (and often misattributed). This book provides an overview of Tesla and what he accomplished, as well as an in-depth analysis of why he didn’t accomplish more. It goes one step further, which is to share with the readers just how men of Tesla’s greatness can fail to reach their full potential, using him as the case study for this main point.The e-book is well-formatted and easy to read, the material is interesting, and it is short and to the point. It may not tell you the whole story of Tesla, but the story that it does tell sheds a lot of light on his backstory and the outcome of his life. Those striving for greatness can take quite a bit away from the points that are made throughout this book.

Good to know the real inventor of the internet and WiFi, text/voice/picture messaging, and that limitless energy is real and possible. I was a bit surprised that after taking a rather dim view of Edison, there is a related book that seems to extol his virtues as an inventor; still this doesn’t detract from the current text. Important lessons about life, learning, and service to humanity. Beautifully written too, makes for a gentle read.
