The term ‘multibagger’ was coined by Peter Lynch in his bestselling book One Up on Wall Street, published in 1988. It simply means a stock that delivers returns multiple times its initial cost of acquisition. Easy as it may sound to define multibagger stocks, identifying them is hard.
This book offers readers a simple yet effective technique to identify the stocks that have the potential to generate stupendous returns. Cutting the clutter and the noise, it answers the three most critical questions related to stock market investing: when to invest (enter the market), how long to remain invested and finally when to exit. Dispelling the myth that multibagger stocks are devoid of strong fundamentals, the book explains why only the stocks with strong fundamentals can become multibaggers. It also forewarns readers to stay away from the seemingly multibaggers (dubious companies) that may lead to wealth destruction and helps them identify good companies with solid fundamentals.

A Useful Guide to investing in Multibagger stocks in India
This book is a useful guide to investing in Multibagger stocks in India. The author has explained the process of identifying, researching and investing in small and micro-cap stocks with potential to become multibagger stocks. He has explained the process with his own investment journey. The examples are quite recent which makes the book more interesting. There are instances of multibagger returns and there are instances where the author lost more than 50% of his investment. He has been very honest in explaining what went right and what went wrong with his specific investments. He has highlighted the key risks in investing in small and micro-cap stocks which are illiquid in nature. The other risk is relative information asymmetry in this category of stocks. The book will prove of immense help to investors who are interested in investing in multibagger stocks in Indian Equity Market.

    Decent Book
I would suggest to go with Christopher Mayers’ 100 to 1 that is much better on 100 baggers. It provides the conceptual framework. The book by Mr. Paul is decent I would say.

    Complete investing approach
I have been investing in small/micro-cap/penny stocks for over a decade now and have been a consistent loser for most of the time. I have had several instances when I lost 60-70% of my investment, even 100% sometimes. I then came across this book having lots of positive reviews hence thought of giving it a try. After reading the book I now finally realize the missing link and my mistakes. Most people lose money in the stock market because of fno trading, intraday, following tips (noise) from sources like twitter, telegram, TV. So here comes the book from Mr Prasenjit Paul focused on empowering a small investor who can objectively think and decide about the entry exit mechanisms. What I liked about the book:1. Focus on gaining multibagger gains but this is not a get rich quick scheme2. Concise, to the point book3. Focusing not only on winners but also on losers to present a complete picture4. Book is in plain simple English. I have a collection of over 70 books, most being from foreign investors and traders, so half of the books are just hard to understand because of the tough English. With all due respect to Indian authors, I have not come across someone in Indian market who can present the subject in simple flowing English language.5. Clear focus on entry exit conditions so that an investor can remain objective in his approach and take care of emotions like greed, fear during market extremes.6. All the examples are from the Indian stock market and of recent times which helps in relating with the topic even more.Overall, I found the book very logical and giving a fresh take on the subject mutltibagger investing. The methods described in the book are doable and proved to be generating returns. I have already started to shape my approach and mindset in the way the author has explained and I think after all these years I might actually find success in multibagger investing.

    Must read about Multibagger stocks
The simplest ever and very easy to understand book on Multibaggers in the stock market.”Failure teaches more than success could ever.” Author prasenjit paul illustrates his journey of success and failures with Multibaggers, by giving examples of stocks of his own portfolio. The author has an awesome writing sense which has made the book informative and concept centric. The book is a big YES for anyone who’s willing to learn and/or invest in the stock Market by targetting the Multibagger stocks. It’s a must read for investment enthusiasts. Key takeaways- Long Multibaggers success list of the author like Chemcrux, Lancer, Sirca Paints, Caplin, Can Fin Homes, Gujarat Themis- The Author shares his failure list too & warns what to avoid – Important points to remember are mentioned clearly – One downside, that the book is not meant for traders.
