I have done nearly a dozen small car kits about this size/scale with mixed results. This one was one of the good kits though nothing stellar you are still getting good pieces and good instructions. The final model result probably wont be the big brand quality but still looks pretty good. The display case is on of the top reasons to go for this one over some others and is actually one of the reasons I got this one over some of the others. I have a few other cars with displays and they stack really nice on the shelf and makes it way easier to display and save space on the shelf. Outside the case it does roll and move fine and you could display without the case.

I have done quite a few builds by Mould King. The MK Speed Champ 27031 Race Car is another great set by them.The set comes nicely packed with all of the bags of bricks inside of the included display case. The bags are numbered but they don’t follow anything in the manual so you are going to have to open and sort all of them. The bricks are all compatible with the major brands and went together easily. The manual is clear and easy to follow with steps only containing a small amount of parts at a time. The age range states 8 and up and I think that it is easy enough for younger builders. The included display case will help to protect and display your build as well as keep it dust free.The model is well designed and solid enough that it will easily stand up to being played with. Not something many smaller models can claim. For only $22, I think the set is fairly priced and is well worth the money.

I love the turquoise blue of this racing car and appreciate that it comes with a protective case. It makes a great gift to a teen and assembly was easy.

This is a pretty decent kit. It’s easy to build, and quite fun. There are sections that are a little unstable, even after finishing, so you need to handle it with some care. Having the case is a nice bonus, it looks good and if you have any other models on the series you can stack them together and the corners will attach.The instructions can also be a little frustrating at times because the perspective is very off on some steps which makes it hard to know where to place things. My biggest complaint is the stickers. They are easy to peel and apply, but they are a totally different color to the car. The pictures in the listing make it seem like they are the same color as the blocks, but they aren’t and are noticable different. The set uses a lot of stickers so it’s not as bad as it could be, but it is kind of strange how different the color is.If you are looking for a cheap, quick build, that looks nice, this is a good set and with checking out.

I have a few other cars from this brand and always enjoy building them. The pieces are of the exact same size and comparable quality to the name brand bricks. They snap together well and the sets are very solid when built. These are more challenging than you would think, but they come with numbered bags and great instructions so this was a fun build. Love that they also come with a case to keep the dust off of them while they are on display, will definitely get more these sets and am considering some of the larger ones now too.
