Sunday Times bestselling author Dr Rangan Chatterjee reveals how to make positive change that actually lasts in his latest, most innovative book to date.
We all have things we rely on going our way to help us feel calm and happy. Your partner waking up in a good mood. No traffic on the way to work. No queues at the supermarket. And no rain on your day off.
But what happens when things don’t work out that way? We fall back on soothing habits. A trip to the cupboard for snacks. Scrolling on social media. A few beers or a couple of glasses of wine after a stressful day.
Make Change that Lasts will show you the nine hidden ways day to day life causes these responses — and show you how to respond to them consciously.
Blending ancient philosophy with a deep understanding of health, host of one of the biggest podcasts on the planet, Feel Better, Live More, Dr Rangan Chatterjee will provide a personalized approach and simple techniques for reducing our reliance on the chaotic and uncertain outside world.
This book will help you become an expert in yourself – finally unlocking true, long-lasting health and happiness.

I was so excited when I first heard that Dr. Rangan Chatterjee was writing this newest gem of his wisdom and knowledge. “Make Change that Lasts” is by far his best yet and it pulls together all of the knowledge he has shared from past books, his life experiences and wisdom he has learned from others. He is not afraid to share heartbreaking stories of loss and heartache in his personal life that have shaped him and how to respond to life in a positive and constructive way, without leaning on unhealthy habits and practices. When his book was printed in the USA, unknowingly to him, in black and white, not color, he even had to fall back on his own teaching to constructively deal with the backlash from surprised purchaser’s of Make Change that Lasts! This book is perfect even in black and white! Buy the book! His style of teaching and writing is empowering and compassionate. He guides each reader as always to be their own best guide to health, wellness and happiness . Buy the book, you will not be sorry!!!

While I did preorder of the book and was as surprised by the print quality and black and white nature of the photos as many people, it was not the intention. The book came out in colour in the UK and I messaged Dr.Chatterjee to let him know about the print quality in Canada, as I am sure many people have. He quickly acted to have this issue fixed and have full colour edition available as soon as February/March.The content of the book however is what counts and it has been a delightful read, full of insights and inspiration. A very different read from the classic self-help books, that lack the kindness towards yourself and why you are stuck in the first place. I listened to Dr.Chatterjeeâs podcast for many years and his own personal transformation is a testament that what he recommends works, and I like that his approach is not scaring people into change like many other health podcasts do. His content including this book feels calming, gentle and kind, in the time when everything tries to scare and push you out of balance. I do recommend the book, but colour edition will be way more beautiful when it comes out.

I love Dr. Rangan and have purchased all his books. I have also been listening to his podcast since he first started it. This book has practical ideas for making and sticking with changes. The quality of the pictures is not the best, but that was something out of his control and has been addressed. I plan on gifting the one I have to someone who needs it and buying a second one with better-quality pictures to keep. This book is a labor of love. Do yourself a favor and read it.

I am currently reading my way through this book and am loving it! I am not a big book buyer, but Dr. Chattergee’s podcast has been so inspirational and life changing for me, that I wanted to support him in some way. Plus I was extremely interested in the content of this book- putting into practice and sticking with all the health knowledge that I have learned in the last several years.I was surprised by the quality of the book as a lot of people have been, but I am wondering if that kept the cost of the book lower, which is something that I also appreciate. Dr. Chattergee has sent out a sincere apology email acknowledging the error that was made on the publishing side of things and a higher quality book will be available for purchase very soon. I will be keeping the one I currently have and look forward to continue reading and learning from it.
