Worth the price
Plug and play cable, confirmed. Sets native resolution automatically. Detects monitor name and model under device manager. I bought similar cables before at 250 rupees from brick & mortar market, which were thicker and very sturdy looking, but they were not plug and play.Cable is a little bit less in diameter, the plugs are not too sturdy, but it is strong enough to last longer than your monitor.

Very poor build quality. The plastic portion are pathetic so much so that the plastic knob on the screw came off from the tightening screw. Without the knob it is difficult to tighten. The cable quality is also very bad as the video quality is too distorted and blurred.

Does not detect native resolution and make/model of the monitor
The highest resolution these cables can offer is 1024 x 768. It also does not detect the make/model of the monitor. Shielding is of poor quality and the images are quite blurry. After struggling to get the correct resolution for a few days, I realized that the problem is with the cables. I could verify this by replacing this cable with good quality VGA cable. Unfortunately the return window was closed by the time I could complete the experiments. However by definition, it still qualifies as a VGA cable as it supports 800 x 600 resolution. If your monitor is having a higher resolution than 1024 x 768, then DO NOT purchase this cable. It could not support a 1366 x 768 resolution on my monitor.
