Noob reviews
The product has done justice to the adjective hostile. Thought I am a noob but I liked it.

Poor Build Quality, good design and sounds goos
It broke in under 20 daysI liked the design but it seems like the build quality is not good enough for price

I’m no expert guitar player and got these mainly for my kids to mess around with ukuleles. I think the extra grip these have do help them hold on to them better. But I’m sure they’ll end up losing them eventually, especially the blue ones that are almost clear. However, when comparing prices, it seems like other well-known brands offer similar picks with grip on them for the same price or even a bit cheaper (when I got these, they were $6.00/10 pack), and sometimes with more picks per pack.

As I have gotten older, I tend to like picks that are sturdy enough that I get a good connection when I solo, yet have enough give to make strumming chords on an electric or an acoustic sound nice. These are pretty close to perfect for this. The grip of the pick is nice, and for picks that are this type of translucent materials, they have a solid amount of give. I can solo and strum with them pretty seamlessly.I also like the colors. The blue ones can look almost transparent at times, but they still have that cool baby blue tint. And the orange ones are bright and stand out. Overall, I really like these picks and will definitely order more!

I’ve been playing guitar for 58 years, no expert, but quite a bit of experience. These picks did not impress me. It’s nice that the package contains two thicknesses. I didn’t find the non-slip “hostile grip” feature to be particularly effective, though. One problem is that only one side of the pick is textured. If you’re grabbing for a pick while playing, you don’t have time to examine it to figure out how you want to hold it for maximum grip security. Why not texture both sides identically? Also, the texturing is too subtle. It does feel slightly textured, but not enough for a really solid grip, and not a significant advantage over a smooth pick.If you want a pick that won’t slip out of your fingers, a better choice is Dunlop Max-Grip picks, which have a symmetrical, rougher texture and provide a more secure grip.

Please take this for what it is and isn’t worth: Playing for ~45 years, enjoying finding new gear, etc. These are quality, not the crummy picks that often ship with other accessories, etc. The textured area is tactilely pleasant, and the pick material has a little bit of give (not brittle). For reasons that probably have to do with habit and decades of use, I just prefer the amount of give from celluloid when it hits guitar strings.TLDR: these are well made, I just prefer celluloid for material.

These are thin and flexible picks, very lightweight and in pretty semi clear colors. Great for using with an acoustic. They are a tiny bit on the small side for my big fingers, but about average compared to other picks. The grippy ridges are what make these good- no slipping or straining to hold on to these. Overall, pretty good guitar picks if you are looking for flexible, not overly rigid picks.
