When measuring for a shade sail, leave a 1-1.5 ft gap between the buckle and the wall or pole to prevent sagging in the center.For example, if your goal is to provide shade for a 10ft x 10ft area, it is recommended to plan for an 8ft x 8ft shade sail, considering both the fabric’s ability to stretch and the need for a snug installation.

NOTE: In standard sizing, we offer curved shade sails, measured as the straight distance between buckles, not fabric to fabric, as the curved pattern can shorten the fabric.

The package includes four 2m-long ropes for easy installation.For larger shades, we recommend you to BUY HIPPO’s hardware accessories for a secure setup.Attach SS 316 buckles to structure’s edges.Leave 1-1.5 ft gap between the buckle and the wall or pole to prevent sagging in the center.Loosely tie the first ends, fasten the other sides tightly, and then adjust the first ends for a secure fit.Choose a hyperbolic arrangement with two higher corners or set it at a 20-40 degree angle for a slight tilt, ensuring efficient rainwater runoff and preventing pooling.
