As a DJ/KJ host, I own three both systems. My largest bow system, which is my oldest, does not have Bluetooth connect ability like my new systems do. I wanted to use my Apple tunes with my system and this little Jim did the trick! Well, this, with a Bluetooth 3mm pin jack adapter unit.

This is the perfect addition to your bag of audio adapters because it allows you to hook up a 3.5mm (1/8″) stereo plug into your mixer for playing off your phone or other device. I use this with my Synthesizer that has a 3.5mm (1/8″) out and plug the adapter into my mixer. Note: It is balanced Mono but not stereo, you would need two of these adapters and a Y splitter with distinct left and right for stereo.

Not sure what to say, it’s a simple adapter and it does the job. Obviously XLR is mono, so it could be nice to see a diagram of what it does with TRS 3.5 tip or even one with a mic ring. All in all, great price (under $7), solid unit. Very happy with it.By the way, these can come in very handy when recording and people bring their own stuff. You can even use it to drive headphones over XLR right from the back of the mixer on a line out. Pretty cool.
