Outstanding, beautiful, excellent , awesome !!!! 5 stars r not enough!!
I love Nadia Lee’s books. I’ve read most of them, and she always delivers the best of the best. This book is proof that she keeps on exceling with each of her books.Sebastian and Luce were outstanding. The jealousy and possessiveness that Sebastian felt for Luce was so exciting to read about. Who gets jealous n possessive due to a tie knot or yoga poses or even a bright smile!! Of course, Sebastian!! Because he wants all of it for himself!! The author has exceptionally succeeded in putting on paper all the emotions. He calls her his fiance, his wife, and his Valkyrie.. I just loved him so so much!!And Luce is such a strong person.. the author very beautifully presented a woman who feels lonely and has no one to lean on.. and the way Sebastian cared for, protected n loved her was just out of this world!!And the flow of emotions when she comes to know the truth, how it affects her and how she again goes back in her shell is just so superbly written. We feel each and every emotion. We feel the hurt, the sadness and the loneliness..And then Sebastian grovels and how!! Some very excellent grovelling scenes … and finally they have their happily ever after and we are satisfied and happy!!ðAll the best, Nadia, for all the future books and I look forward to read all of them!!!

I devoured this book in one day. I couldnât put it down. It has all that hit ingredients like an Icy but self dependent and successful heroine who bends for no one, an alpha billionaire hero, a bunch of lovely secondary characters, hot scenes, passionate love, drama, angst, grovelling and slight suspense. For some reason this book Reminded me of King of Pride. I also enjoyed the writing style of the author and her attention detail.Definitely recommended and will read more from this author.-she falls first but he falls harder.-marriage of convenience, forced proximity.-angst, drama, grovelling.

Enthralling ð
Yet, another amazing book by Nadia. I am always in awe with her work as it’s too easy to get lost in the amazing world she create’s and characters that though fictional with outlandish backgrounds are easy to connect to. Sebastian and Lucie made me go through an emotional rollercoaster. When I read the first chapter my heart broke for Lucie but by the end of it I had heart eyes and knew a great love story was ahead. I had a wicked smile on my face majority of the read as they get married. I loved getting to know them as they got to know each other and fell in love. I had my doubts yet I did not anticipate the betrayal. My heart ached for Lucie but all the gestures that Sebastian makes made me swoon. Having Yuna was an added bonus as she is my favourite. The bonus chapters were sweet and made me crave for more. Cannot wait for the next Lasker to find his match.

It was fine
Good for easy reading. The writing was simple and straightforward. I liked it but in the end, I felt like Luce gave in quickly. That’s the only thing I don’t like about this book.

I have had this gorgeous story sitting in my tbr for a while, but it was the perfect book to kick off the New Year with. There are TW’s to be aware of.â ï¸Our Valkyrie, Luce, starts her story as a fourteen year old girl living in a toxic familial environment. After reaching a point, this lovely girl ventures off, meeting Sebatian for the first time. With strong words giving her the courage and determination to say enough was enough, she marches back to the hellhole that is her life with the determination of taking everything away from her so-called family.Eleven years have passed, and Luce has grown into a wonderful independent woman running her family business as CEO, but she has run into some complications. Surely, a contract marriage with Sebatian, the man she crushed on as a child and looked up to as an adult, couldn’t go wrong, right? Dead wrong, and oh boy, does it hurt.Things I loved about this book:- It is the 4th book, but I was able to love it as a standalone. I look forward to reading the other books for this series.- The on and off enemies to lover’s work romance between Luce and Sebatian was wonderful- There was a twist I really wasn’t expecting when I dived into this one. It was a point that snowballed everything rapidly and I was yanked along with it.- The cheaters, abusers, and users all get the justice they deserve ð-The aftercare, tenderness, love, compassion. Ah, it all was glorious. ð¥°Dislikes- The ending felt rushed. I wasn’t expecting the last date these love birds had to be filled with jewelry, words, and a rushed I DO.-Sebatian was a man who made sure that others were punished for wrongs in ways that would hurt them the most. He was excellent at this, and seeing the justice he delivered for sweet Luce was amazing. But for his own punishment, it felt lacking in some way.- There was quite a bit of repetition with a few subjects. I am cool with fillers, but at some points, it felt like it was taking away from the story rather than enhancing it.Overall, this was a phenomenal story. I simply couldn’t put it down once I started.

This romance has everything – enemies to lovers, witty banter, a strong-willed FMC coming into her own, a LOT of family drama and a very grumpy MMC who becomes such a simp.I thoroughly enjoyed this book – itâs was such a fun read from beginning to end. I loved that there wasnât a lot of drama between Lucienne and Sebastian until the end, and most of it was them against their families. They make such a great team! The flow of this story was so natural – from their first chat (where he tells his assistant he never wants to speak to her, and sheâs on speaker and hears everything), to their awkward wedding day, to the hilarious tennis match and finally, to their happy every after. Lucienne and Sebastian really grow together throughout this book and seeing them be a power couple and support each other was just amazing.I also usually find that a lot of MMCâs donât grovel enough when they screw up – Sebastian is not one of them! His grovel was of epic proportions and with the intent that he had to prove himself to his wife before she took him back.I think this is Nadia Leeâs best book yet and I canât recommend it enough!

This is the second book I’ve read of this author and I just wanted to say that if you want a book that gives you emotional whiplash this is it. I went from loathing a character that doesn’t even exist on this planet to crying my heart out into my pillow. I don’t know how she did it and I think that’s amazing. Also another thing: usually in books when an author describes a wealthy character you’re like we get it they’re rich. But reading her two books [this one and the one that comes before it in this series] I’ve actually understood just how rich these people are and I think that’s also amazing.Overall, it’s an awesome book and I plan on reading it again.
