A solid alternative to (an equally awesome) Apple Airpods pro!
So finally the Bose qc ultra earbuds!!
Firstly, thanks to Amazon prime day sale got the ultra for the price of previous gen qc2. Great value for money.
    The pros:
    1. Very comfortable fit
    2. Well rounded, great sound (ofcourse)
    3. Top notch ANC
    4. Easy and hassle free connectivity to ios devices
    The cons:
    1. No multi point connectivity – can connect to only one device at a time
    2. No wireless charging (which wasnt a deal breaker for me)
Overall, really happy with the purchase. I was using airpods first gen for almost 2 years and then upgraded to airpods pro first gen. Was very happy with airpods but being a Bose fan and somebody who keeps a check on latest what Bose has to offer i thought of giving it a try. And oh boy! No regrets at all.
Go for it if you are a Bose fan!

Updated to 1 Star on 12/08. DO NOT BUY. Old-Spectacular! Mind-blowing experience
Well, i may have over stepped my joy and ignored few key concerns when I wrote the first review. I have now reduced the rating to 1 Star, after encountering a few basic things that these Ultras miserably fail at.
    1. When you insert these buds into your ears, randomly either one of them will not connect! Has happened many-many times. Beyond frustrating; you need to put the buds back in the case, and sit and hope that the problem is solved. A 1000rs earbuds which i have from Tozo , seamlessly connects with my phone!
2.when you use multi point connection with a laptop , even after u keep the earbuds back in the case, the connection with laptop cannot be disconnected!!! I use ‘forget device’ option on the laptop .. each time i need to disconnect. Again, these things are basics 101!! I have the Buds Live and multi point works so intuitively on that.
The sound quality is sublime 10/10
ANC is 8/10 – removed 2 point2 due to ‘white noise’
    Connectivity: 1/10
Honestly, id be better off with AirPods 2 Pro or Sony XM5s . Don’t buy the Ultras right now , wait and research if Bose has fixed and then decide.
Extremely disappointed, definitely avoid until Bose does the right thing and corrects the basics, Ultra name is a joke.
Just a few firmware updates should be able to fix and hope Bose does that and soon, as this is a global issue.
    Old review:
This is my first purchase of a premium segment earbuds, and i am absolutely mind blown!! The Sound quality is something you need to hear to believe.
And ANC? What Bose has done with ANC is scary! The earbuds with full ANC on would make you feel that you are ‘alone’ , even if you are at a busy, noisy office. My focus has a new aid! Pure wizardry.
With the new Firmware update, Bose has enabled multiple connectivity. But the implementation is poor, has a few minor bugs and must be fixed with a next update, but not a deal breaker for me.
Don’t get carried away with lower ratings, if Top class Sound and ANC is your priority, then close your eyes and purchase, nothing else comes close.
I bought this over the Bose Ultra Headphones due to convenience, I don’t regret one bit.
    Super happy 😍

Best sounding and most comfortable earbuds .. period.
There is no earbud that is more comfortable to use and they don’t get loose no matter what. The comfort level is something that one needs to experience, it feels like revelation. With the latest firmware update, Bluetooth multipoint is available and works flawlessly between two devices. Bose app is excellent. Sound quality and noise cancellations are class leading so the touch controls. I don’t mind lack of wireless charging. Spatial audio feature is fantastic. Call quality is as good as it can be from a pair of earbuds.Overall they are perfect earbuds and highly recommended.

    Premium Ear Buds
Just got the BOSE Ultra Earbuds recently. I’m delighted with the sound quality particularly the immersive spatial audio, the excellent noise cancellation and the comfort of using it. Only downside is the battery life on immersive mode, hardly lasts 2 hours and therefore have to recharge to watch a movie etc.

    Absolutely over the roof
The music output out of the world.I absolutely recommend it O my god these are the best in the market right now.IF you are used to low sound these are perfect for you but for me I need high sound so kind of dissatisfied with that BUT ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND IT FOR LOW NOISE USERS

For Apple Users it’s OK for Music, NOT ok for calls, connectivity & comfort.
I bought with a view to replace my existing Airpods Pro. But it’s nowhere as compared to Airpods for a couple of factors (more relevant to Apple users). Let me share my personal experience in detail:
    Pros:
    1. Biggest Pro with these earbuds are when listening to music, its definitely good with rich bass & balanced highs – Better than Airpods Pro.
    2. The noise cancellation is extremely good and better than Airpods Pro.
Now, the reasons why I don’t like this product are:
    Cons:
    1. The in ear fitting & comfort – it’s not as comfortable as Airpods pro. u can feel the itch all the time which is not expected from a premium product like this.
    2. Being in the Apple Ecosystem when my Airpods Pro seamlessly switches between my iphone, iwatch & Macbook, these Bose earbuds fail to deliver that experience.
    3. Now, I have compared using both the Airpods & Bose earbuds simultaneously during a call – the sound output & clarity is very disappointing in Bose earbuds. You get very low sound during calls on these earbuds.
    4. Also, when I go for my daily walk, I never carry my phone as I always play my music on the Airpods Pro through my iwatch (cellular) directly (without the need of my iphone near me). But the Bose earbuds don’t support this feature of pairing with my watch without the phone around.
So, now I carry both my Airpods Pro & my Bose Quite Comfort Ultra earbuds to my office & use them as per what they are best at!
This review is mainly for all those who are in the Apple Ecosystem, you will be a little disappointed with the comfort, connectivity & calls while using these earbuds.

O som é excelente, o grave bem evidente e o app do produto permite a equalização do som.

    Update:
I returned it because of a serious sounds cut, breaks on the right one.
I have my beats fit pro and they are good for more than 1 and have year, but I decide to go for bose finally after reading and watching many real reviews, this earbud is AMAZING, the sound quality is great with the NC, using it while reading and studying for a long time, I’m really in love with these earbuds.

For the last 3 months, I wanted to find a pair of wireless earbuds that were, at the very least, comfortable.
My previous pair of wireless earbuds, Sony’s WFSP800N were, by far, the most comfortable wireless earbuds I have ever experienced. That being said, they’re going on four years old. They disconnected randomly from my phone, they often remained on when I put them in their charging case, and on a few occasions, just my sweat would be enough to trigger the touch sensors and either skip or pause whatever song I was listening to.
So, I set out to try just about every major brand that *wasn’t* Sony this time around.
I tried the top of the line in the $200 price range from Jabra, Beats, and Sennheiser.
Jabra was by far the one I wanted to succeed the most. I picked up the Jabra Elite 8. The sound was good. Noise cancelling was automatic and easy to cycle. And the fact that the materials were military grade and built to withstand just about anything really sold me. Unfortunately, prolonged wear hurt my right ear. I returned them a few days later and tried the Beats Fit Pro. I thought that the wings would provide stabilization and comfort. I was wrong. I didn’t even get a chance to really try them out. My ears were in agonizing pain due to the rigidity of the wings. I returned them the same day I bought them. I had high hopes for Sennheiser, and though they sounded amazing, they hurt in the same way that Jabra did.
Cue Bose to come in. The thing that set them apart from the competition were the comfort wings. They come in three different sizes. I tried using the medium wings first, but prolonged use still caused pain in just my right ear, even though my left was fine. The small wings though fit perfectly in both, and have not created any issues of discomfort or pain. They’re actually on par comfort wise with the Sony earbuds I got almost 4 years ago.
Now, the sound was night and day to anything I have ever tried before. The sheer depth of everything was immaculate, and with the app you can adjust the different tones accordingly. But the features that won out was the noise cancelling “quiet” mode, the sound heightening “immersion” mode, and the all around “aware” mode.
These are the best noise cancelling earbuds I have ever experienced with the quiet mode. The immersion mode let’s you listen to music in all levels around you as if you’re sitting in the middle of an orchestra. The aware mode transfers sound from the outside to you as if you aren’t wearing headphones at all.
All three modes are miles above the other competing products I have bought. But the Aware mode is absolutely amazing as any other version of this sounds Tinny or Electronic. This was the first time I have ever forgotten I was even wearing headphones. The music may not have been playing, but the background noise was so clear that I just didn’t need to take the headphones out and put them away. This actually made it easy to listen to music at a low volume and still be able to keep up with concentrating on conversations or work place activities and lectures.
The case uses the USB C charging cable, and you get a full charge if it’s completely dead in about 2 hours. That being said, I probably get about 6 to 8 hours with consecutive use of the earbuds on a single charge. With the charging case, I can probably go 20 to 25 hours without needing to recharge. But what I love is that not only will the earbuds audibly tell you when they are low after they’ve been sitting in the case, the case itself has a light indicator to tell you when the charging battery is drained.
Overall, is this worth $300? Considering it blew every other $200 competitor, including my original earbuds out of the water (which I paid $250 for when they were released near 4 years ago), I would say that TO ME, they are worth the money. I’m not comparing them to current Sonys on the market, nor have I ever tried the Quiet Comfort 2s. If you feel that it isn’t big enough of a jump, then cool. But to me, comparing them to all of the earbuds that caused me pain, I do feel like this is a case of “Getting Your Money’s Worth.”
I sincerely like these, and I am happy I spent the money for the sake of impressive comfort and impressive sound quality.
