I have an otter box case with iPhone 15 pro max and it is thick. It charging but you need to hold it close together because it has a little magnet to it or maybe because of the type of my phone case. I always use otter box, it is provide it fell a lot and still no damage.

This is a compact 5,000 mAh power bank from Belkin that supports the open standard Qi2. This is basically 15w MagSafe charging introduced in 2020 from Apple. Before now, a portable magnetic charger had to pay the licensing fee to be certified as MFI “made for MagSafe” which resulted in a more expensive product for the end user. If the manufacturer decided not to pay the fee, it could still work with MagSafe iPhones but it would be limited in charging speed to either 5 or 7.5 watts maximum. Now that Qi2 products are being widely released, consumers now have better and more affordable options.This Belkin Charger is 1 of 3 variants, with the 5k size being the smallest and most compact one (as well as the most affordable option). If you want the ability to fully recharge your iPhone, especially if it’s a Max size device, then I recommend the 10k size or to stick with the wired option. This will recharge my 12 Pro Max from 0-45% or so using the wireless method. But it can recharge my device from 0-85% using the USB C port and this method is also faster than the wireless Qi2/MagSafe protocol.The build quality is great, it feels sturdy and the kickstand is made from aluminum and feels quite strong and provides enough support. The inner side of the power bank has a very soft rubber finish that will not scratch your phone and feels very premium. It reminds me of the material used on the official MagSafe battery pack.When charging wirelessly, as long as you keep the phone in a ventilated environment, out in the open, it will not get hot. The only places you wouldn’t want to keep it when charging wirelessly would be in your pocket, handbag/purse, or in bed under a blanket. If there isn’t open air around the phone, heat will gradually build up while charging. This is not a flaw or reason to be concerned, it’s just the natural process of how wireless/inductive charging works. It’s less efficient than USB wired charging and some of the energy gets lost as heat in the process.

Bellingham 5K BoostCharge Pro Wireless MagSafe Power BankI ordered this to have has a backup as our family is really busy and it never fails that my daughter often forgets to charge her phone or uses it till it is almost dead… so having a small compact wireless and now MagSafe Quick charger is a must. This charger is MagSafe so no cords needed if you have a MagSafe case/phone. The MagSafe magnet is very strong and really holds onto the phone. This charger does have a kickstand that allows you to prop up the charger as I noticed that if you have a MagSafe phone attached to the charger laying flat on the table it does get fairly warm. I noticed that when I prop the phone and charger with the kickstand it does not get as warm. This charger is small, thin and compact. I had a iPhone 15 ProMax that was at 2% battery and connected it to the MagSafe charger and continued to play games for about 1/2 an hr and then went to bed. The charger ended up charging my phone to 68% before it lost its charge. I am not 100% sure that it was fully charged when I plugged it in as I may have used it once prior to this charging.. but either way.. it mostly charged my phone and got me to where I could get it plugged into a wall charger to fully charge. I still do not know how long it takes to recharge the MagSafe charger so I am going to calculate it today as I recorded when I plugged it in and I will update the review once I have a total charge time. This is a good little charger to have as it is easy to carry. I do feel that it does seem a little overpriced compared to similar items available.
