ASICS Men’s Gel- Contend 5B Running Shoes

Good for go than other products in this range.
An honest review of this product would be updated after a week of use.Here I’ll just want to show how could you verify a genuine product, so I bought it personally for walking and running purpose.The product was delivered by amazon with its general “amazon” packing. The actually product packing was actually good with asics labels/ barcode and all which would assure you that it will be a genuine asiscs product inside.When I first saw the shoes i was fully assured with the asics tag on it also a model number or so on the tongue of the shoe from inside, it was the same one which was on the box earlier. Even the soul will have asics logo engraved with it on front and written Gel on the backside.Also this product is made in India so feels good purchasing an indian product.Coming to the actual product, the thing which impressed me the most was the sole, its actually the “soul” of the product. It is dam sturdy and I think it cannot be damaged for atlest 3-4 years although going for road running or walking up the hill.It have overall good traction support.The front mesh is used with a breather material so you would not be uncomfortable wearing this pair of shoes for too long.Asics says its having amplifoam technology or so, frankly speaking it should be having a Anplifoam label on the lower end of the shoe, which is missing for this particular model I think, but asics also says that its having Ortholite shoeknit in inner side. Which I apparently had it on my shoe.So if you are thinking it wouldn’t be having Amplifoam, so in that case you are wrong. Just a label is missing, i think it will not make a much difference.Overall I found this product satisfying.Note – the measurement of my foot is 25.5cm and I have got uk9 size which I think is a good fit you can go for 8 but it would be cut to cut fitting and personally I like 1 cm clearane on the toe section. Also the breadth matters but it will be fitting you by adjusting the whole lace section. Personally I was getting it a tight at start but by adjusting the laces it was a perfect fit.Will update the review within a week of use.

Asics Made in India…
This pair was my 3rd pair of Asics. Previous ones were Combodian and Vietnam made which were very comfortable. Wearing for last 3.5 years. Asics well known for its quality and comfort. Till now was very happy with my Asics. But no more, because of this particular Asics that I bought from Amazon. It’s too narrow from front that makes very uncomfortable to wear. Specially when you do brisk walking or running that make your thumb uncomfortable and if in case you nails are little bigger than there is a chance that you break the nails. Overall shoes are little smaller and tighter than the normal for the same size and hence it’s a very tight fit but have space in front of the shoe. Asics India should ensure that international standards are maintained instead of cost cutting and manufacturing the shores in India. Very very dissatisfied and disappointed with the Asics this time. Can’t even return as I have cut the label and worn them outdoors. Even the box is damaged in transit before delivery. I don’t know if I will be able to wear these shoes or not
