More of a toy
The instrument is intended more as a toy. Since there is no sound box and the strings are attached to a solid wooden board, there is hardly any sound produced. It is also very hard to tune the strings precisely – a small movement of the knobs produces a bis difference in pitch. I was intending to use it as a swarmandal but it did not serve my purposes at all. It is very expensive for what it is as there is almost no sound.
