An incredible read, start to finish
This book was simply a masterpiece. I couldn’t put it down till the last page. George RR Martin is a king of writing fiction. The book got definitely darker than the last one and the characters making tougher and tougher decisions, facing insurmountable odds, terrible losses, huge armies, but now also the onset of wildlings, magic and the inexorable advance of winter. This is an incredible thriller, with new and shocking developments in each page, and twisted politics and cold-blooded murders and revelations at every turn. The description is so intense and direct that the scenes seem to play out in your head as if you were there, and the grotesque fights and killings leave you feeling horrified.George RR Martin outdoes himself with every book. Can’t wait to read the next one.

    Amazing Amazon Service-Awesome Book
First of all, if you are looking at this review/book, I need not tell you how awesome ” A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE ” seriesis and how George.R.R.Martin is a modern day legend in epic fantasy writing. It is hard to not get carried away when reading his books. I haven’t read the entire series yet but I am well on my way.Tell you what. If you love the TV show, you are gonna die for these books. Period.Amazing offer by Amazon. I got the entire set( 7 books ) including this one for a mere 1000 bucks which is dead cheap. Also the delivery is prompt. I ordered these one day and the day after, they are on my doorstep. The packaging was compact and clever but could have been better padded. However the books are fat and squat, so be careful while you read them, lest you break their spine.

Great purchase, though came with a minor defect which doesn’t hinder reading
Loved the book, though it came with a minor defect. They sent me a violet cover instead of the one posted on Amazon, which is absolutely stunning.

An Amazing Read with an Enticing Epilog
This novel leaves up to the expectations, it does bring in a few surprises which are not present in the TV 📺 series. The way George R. R. Martin establishes a scene is quite astonishing. Enjoyed the book a lot!

    As always….. Unpredictable… 🙂
GRRM does his work as usual… Introducing new characters, defining the existing ones in depth, killing the most loved ones and this time, the most hated one too (This is not a spoiler because you hate almost everyone) and putting us on our seat’s edge. Just ignore the part where he talks a whole lot about the food served and you’ll just love this book.

This is the best book in the series, and probably the best book I’ve read this year. It is amazing!! Thrilling!!As the war for the iron throne continues, there is a lot of action happening at the same time to the different characters. Never a dull moment.Nothing is predictable. No character is safe. Character development is phenomenal. Action scenes are vivid, and guided by a breathtaking language.Characters are ruthless. They manipulate, control, backstab. There are horrific deaths. There is bloodshed, plenty of surprising plot twists, and secrets are revealed. For instance, finally, we get the answer — who tried to kill Bran with the knife. Two weddings mark this book. There is the marriage of King Joffrey with Maargary Tyreell taking place while Prince Oberyn Martell attends the wedding and hopes to avenge his sister’s murder. All the while Rob Stark, his mother, and Edmure Tully head to the wedding at the Twins. Both ceremonies have a tragic end.I love the relationship between Jaime and Tyrion; how Jaime has never been influenced by Cersei or his father; how Jaime never mistreated Tyrion. And OMG Tyron really surprises us with his unexpected coldness and violence towards the end, but his father and lover only get what they deserve. Additionally, Jaime’s wits and relationship with Brienne is perfect. Not perfect, but perfect in a way that I am hungry for more.Ayra’s journey gets more and more treacherous. She is so brave and smart, and I always forget she is just a child. Ayra and Jon are definitely my favourite characters.I love Jon’s character development; how a bastard is slowly ascending so high.Sansa used to be so annoying, but slowly she is learning and growing, and I feel so sorry at the things happening to her. Little Finger kissing her … arrgg … she is thirteen, but he has clearly a plan in mind.Catelyn Stark—never cared about her. Additionally, I appreciate that Davos and Bran’s chapters are hugely important, but they don’t keep my interest as they should. Whenever I am reading their POV’S all I want is to find out what’s going on with the other characters instead.Daenerys has the three dragons, who are slowly growing as she is coming to Westeros. I love her attitude, pretending to be more innocent and even stupid than she is, and then boom she destroys her enemies when they least expect it, mainly because they underestimate her. Jorah betrays Daenerys. It is hurtful for her, but another lesson learned.I don’t need sleep. I need A Feast for Crows.

By the time you get to part two, of book three, you must know that you’re an addict. On reading the series (on my kindle) I’d missed this book. So there was a massive story hole by the time I got to book four. So much so I was disappointed that GRR had moved this to back story. Not exactly the order I wanted to read the books in, but you can’t undo reading a book, and I had to complete my knowledge. Given that, I LOVED this book. All of your favourite characters appear, and are plunged into even more impossible situations than ever before. As with all his work, you can’t put it down. You have to work hard to keep in mind all of the relationships. And the thrill ride is deliciously explicit. The problem comes when you start seeing characters in your work colleagues, and asking yourself “what would Tyrion do?” :-)If you’re a fan – get it. Read it before watching the TV series. If you’re not a fan, hardly likely you’ll be reading my review 🙂

Ahora estoy loco esperando leer “Winds of Winter” cuando salga.
