Unimpressive
Wondering if the author is using AI to write these days. The last few books have been very disappointing from the perspectives of plot, characterizations and overall writing style. Also, full of grammatical and spelling mistakes.

I was hooked from the first chapter and was until the last page. Miranda is a strong, intelligent and independent woman. The Duke is harsh, stiff and dominant but Miranda soon has him melting in his boots. A little intrigue and this book is a must read.

Do not start to read this one unless you can set aside sufficient time to finish because you’ll be entranced. Lady Miranda is the daughter of a duke and is an amateur botanist self educated besides being perfectly formed with a delicious curvy body beneath auburn red hair. No matter that it might be unfashionable in those Regency days of the ton. At a party given by the Prince Regent she meets the handsome but stoic and icy blue eyed Dorian Greaves the duke of Redbourne. His rudeness to whom he considers a spoiled little naif irritates the intelligent Lady Miranda and starts a gossip war lasting until these two can no longer resist their actual real mutual attraction. Sexually compatible in bed they are soul mates. The duke has a family member who is a bad man and left the estate in dire straits. Good story well written.

Miranda wanted love in her marriage, Dorian looked for his sister to be married, the first time they meet was when there carriage got stuck Dorian helped to get them going again, at the ball Miranda thanked him for helping them, the connection between them a bit tense but there was a spark as well, when he kissed her and she kissed him back they were found by her father dorian spoke up and Miranda had agreed to marry him, there love grew day by day and respect for each other, Dorian had been out to his club and been shot at and then his driver had been poisoned and the carriage damaged, and worse of all Miranda was involved in a carriage accident, who wanted to hurt him he suspected his uncle but was informed he had died, Dorian sent Miranda away to a cottage where she found out she was with child, and Dorian uncle who was not dead arrived and would force Dorian to sign over his inheritance but they both fought back and won, Dorian was over joyed he was to be a father and he loved Miranda with his whole heart, what a lovely story of love and how they came through it, a another great story to read, I received my arc copy and all my words are freely given.

Dorian and Miranda make for lovely opponents, but for even lovelier marriage partners, once they iron out a few kinks in their marriage, like Dorian’s refusal to love Miranda! Not sure I like the spanking portion but Miranda seems to be aroused by it so who am I to complain? Lovely love story with a evil villain thrown in to keep story from being too sweet. I truly enjoyed it with only one real surprise for me! I received a free copy of this book but am voluntarily leaving a review of my honest opinion.

Their relationship started on the wrong foot and snowballed into something more. Witty, entertaining exchanges, steamy love turned into mystery, murder and betrayal as well as love eternal. Excellent read!
