I had to go far to fetch drinking water from water atm. Moreover I had to be me on the mercy of friends. This filter have made my life easy. I have also found a new travel buddy for treks and solo bike rides.Point to be noted if you unwind the cap it fits a normal plastic drinking water.Quality of water (tastes and looks) better than RO used in public water ATM and dispensers.

The product requires back flushing and care while using and storing,purchased for the suspicious water filters which are rarely cleaned.and i don’t think the filter can be replaced for this one.Go for a bottled integrated one for traveling.

Great Product
I travel a lot, and sometimes to the northern Hilly regions of UK and HP. This is a great accessory to carry. When I dont have access to mineral water (e.g. home stays) I use this to run the water through once.One drawback is that the product doesnt fit the head of KINLEY bottles.

The product is excellent for great Water Filteration on the go. And the seller Great Rocksport is also very Good.I want to bring to notice to anyone buying this, that the product comes in a cardboard stand which does not fully cover the product, but a good Bubble Wrap is provided.Also to note that there is a slight dot sized dent at the bottom of the plastic body of the product, and this comes from manufacturing in all the units, so don’t be bothered by it.I had a doubt about this, and so I contacted the seller and also ordered a replacement. I received the replaced product with good cooperation from the Seller Great RockSport.And also there’s a Charity work to provide clean water to the unpriviledged with every purchase.Thank you everyone.

good product to buy
Love the Lifestraw series of filters. I have almost all of them. The original one that I bought 4 years ago, the one in the bottle, the metal one and now this. the problem I faced with this one is that there were no instructions on how to attach it to a regular 500ml to 1 litre bottle. I kept on trying to pull out that end that has the cap, while all I needed to do was to unscrew it clockwise and anti-clockwise to put it back on. I thought it needed some attachment that I might need to buy separately. What the packaging lacked was a simple arrow or words that said (unscrew cap to attach on bottle).Also, why Flavor stars in the rating system?

Es un buen producto a un muy buen precio, me lo llevé de emergencia a misiones, recomiendo leer el manual para sus cuidado y mantenimiento, y recordar que es un filtro, no un purificador de agua, si el agua tiene otros quÃmicos o un sabor distinto, no te lo va a quitar este filtro, pero en su labor de filtrado es excelente en las pruebas que hice en total de sedimentos disueltos el agua de la llave de +500ppm pasó a solo poco más de 50ppm y me redujo a su vez un poco la alcalinidad, por su precio tamaño, etc. Es perfecto para una emergencia, para brigadas de rescate, forestales, misioneros, campistas, excursionistas, entre otros que hagan actividades de campo en lugares silvestres, y una muy buena inversión en caso de emergencia para ti o para tu tropa ya que tiene una considerable vida útil, y más si lo cuidas según las instruccionesâ¦

I bought one of these for using while I’m flyfishing so that I don’t have to carry a bottle of water with me. It is perfect for that use – I just scoop up some water and have a drink when I need one, then fold this back up and tuck it into my pack or clip it to the outside of my chest pack. Unfortunately on a recent Flyfishing trip that included a lot of hiking, I found that when I made it down to the river, the filter and cap was still attached to my carabiner on my pack, but the bladder was gone. I reached out to LifeStraw to see if I could buy a replacement and they sent me an entire replacement unit for free! Talk about great customer service. This is not my first LifeStraw product and it definitely won’t be the last!
