How the RFID protection card holder works? Some opinions:

Keep in mind that RFID stands for Radio-frequency identification, which is the wireless use of electromagnetic fields to transfer data.
A person with the intent to steal your valuable information through an RFID scanner in close proximity to your valuable cards can only potentially scan cars of yours that have a magnetic strip, ie debit cards, credit cards, building access proximity cards and other similar such cards.
While your Social Security Card is VERY valuable to you, the number cannot be read via an RFID scanner because it is simply a piece of paper with a number on it.
So there is no need to protect it in an RFID sheath.
However, I am aware that some do have magnetic strips.
